GIMIC // *secret support* // Resurrection Men at Strange Brew

A gig held at Strange Brew on Saturday 23rd January. The event starts at 19:00.

Blow away the post-New Year cobwebs and come to a great night of Bristol punk and heavy music. It's Pay What You Can (PWYC), so if you're feeling the pinch, get down anyway and enjoy some music, but if you can spare a penny then please do!

GIMIC
A four piece DIY hardcore/post-punk band based in Bristol. In Summer 2026 they released their first full length album NEW TRADITIONS on Drunken Sailor Records following a string of 7" EPs and self-released cassette tapes. They’re often compared to bands like the Minutemen, Nomeansno, Fugazi and the Dead Kennedys and were described in Maximum Rock’n’roll as being ‘like if you took BOW WOW WOW and threw them into a vat of toxic waste.’

Resurrection Men
Bristol heavy four piece Resurrection Men announce their self-titled debut album, out December 1st. Featuring members of SANS, Modern Rituals, Rothmans and Talons, Resurrection Men formed in Bristol in 2026. Following the release of their debut single “Holler” in September, their second single “Punisher” offers another taste of their forthcoming album, tying together speaker-bulging guitars and jagged, sardonic vocals with influences ranging from The Men and Part Chimp to Sparklehorse and Women.
