As a firm favourite of our Dirtytalk parties and now an annual fixture at Strange Brew, Norway's Sotofett is a DJ and producer we have long heralded as one of the best in the game. Known for his vast knowledge of every corner of the club music spectrum and a seriously slick multi-genre party-style DJing on vinyl. He has also been producing music across house, techno, electro, dub, cosmic disco, ambient and more since 2011 on his imprints Sex Tags Mania / Amfibia & Wania.

For this show he presents his 'Resonance of Dub' series for the third time at Brew, joined by Ekowmania aka Ekow Alabi Savage from Cape Coast, Ghana. A master percussionist & drummer – one of the foremost living interpreters of West African rhythms, but also a songwriter and vocalist singing in Fanti and English.

The night will feature an Afro-Dub, Steppers and Digital Dub set, presenting the duo's exclusive music from acetate dubplates, and Ekowmania on vocals and live percussion.

Plus more than a handful of exclusive self-cut Dubplates and a DJ set spanning Dub, dub techno, steppers, Lovers Rock, dubstep, dubby disco and jungle. Resonance of Dub is a where Dub is beatmixed, and the Dubs & Echos itself are alive and direct, straight for the dancefloor.

Sotofett's past appearances are now etched in Bristol folklore, first playing 6 hours (+ 5 more) in Take 5 cafe in 2012 - his first of four all-night solo sets. He played B2B with his brother and labelmate Fett Burger in 2013 & 2016, with elder statesman Bjorn Torske in 2015, a whole WEEKEND at Strange Brew in 2021 (including a 6 hour set of his own unreleased productions), a b2b with LNS in 2022 and editions of Resonance of Dub on the Qualitex system in 2024 & 2025.
