Things are guna get spooky at Strange Brew as we welcome 2 of our favourites ever to bring the dark dance energy
Ziggy Devriend - aka Nosedrip - is a long-time record collector and his label Stroom brings together wave, ambient, post-punk, electronica, outsider pop and exotica made by no-name producers from Europe, and reassembles something like an underground 80s cocktail bar full of outsider mystery and smoky ambience. In his DJ sets he translates the Stroom sound into a darkly fun and liminal pulse, throwing tribalistic techno, no-wave, forgotten 4/4 and dark chuggers into the mix to create a totally unique dancefloor experience.
Elena Colombi is a London-based DJ, promoter, NTS radio host and boss at the Osàre! Editions label. Sharing a similar palette to Nosedrip but with a focus on future-facing music shot through with forward-thinking experimentation and abandon, and imbued with a sense of complete freedom, transcending expectations of time or genre
