Sans Froid disengage you from the shackles of modern madness. Their intent is clear, to make you feel like you’re not the only one going crazy. In 2024 Sans Froid released their debut album ‘Hello, Boil Brain’, and steadily gained plaudits from a host of music tastemakers including BBC 6Music, PROG Magazine, & Everything Is Noise. With performances at ArcTanGent, 2000Trees, Strangeforms and Portals Festivals, as well as supporting Maybeshewill and Foxing, their live performances get you as close to real magic as you can get. 

In 2026 Sans Froid will be releasing their second album 'Back Into the Womb' via Church Road Records, supported by multiple UK/EU tours and festival appearances.

Born to a Ugandan father and White British mother in the Southern USA and raised in the South West of England, Lawi Anywar's in-between-ness is reflected in his pluralistic method of music creation. Combining the cathartic volume and soaring melodies of Shoegaze, Dream Pop and Post-Rock with the hypnotic, bassy textures of Funk and Hip Hop, Lawi's live shows are an experience in tension, release, and anthemic hooks, brought to life in full technicolour with the help of the naughtiest players from Bristol's Experimental, Rock and Jazz scenes.
