Steele Bonus is primarily a graphic artist with clients such as the iconic Music From Memory label, but he is also a highly revered DJ on the underground with a singular style and taste.

His history stretches back to rocking warehouse parties in his native Sydney, although Steele is now firmly embedded in Amsterdam. He’s mesmerised audiences around the city, and indeed the globe, with his diverse selections and daring blends.

Steele is known for going off the deep end, always ending up in freaky waters where outré dance trax flow freely into odd wave grooves; where machine rhythms stack hypnotically, locking you in while keeping you guessing the next move.

A regular on Red Light & NTS Radios and a mainstay for Traxx’s legendary, marathon streaming events (Kode Nation, Nation Unlimited etc.), Steele is also compiler of the excellent OZ Waves compilation, released by Efficient Space, shining a light into the darkest corners of Australian DIY sounds.
