“They sound as vital as their touring partners [Idles] and others such as Shame and Fontaines D.C. in the current crop of punk… virtually any song suggests a revolution is rapidly heading your way.” - Record Collector
“Invigorating punk/metal workouts and a burning thematic focus on modern political issues, delivered with appropriate levels of indignant fury.” - Uncut
“They are at their best when angrily belting out dystopian lyrics and sawing riffs like on the future live hit ‘Sibensko Powerhouse’.” - The Wire
The cryptically-named duo JOHN - comprised of John Newton (drums, lead vocals) and Johnny Healey (guitar, backing vocals) - return with a fresh taster of their incoming fourth album, A Life Diagrammatic. The follow-up to 2021's Nocturnal Manoeuvres LP, which broke new ground for the band by crashing the top 75 of the UK album chart, arrives Sept 22nd via Brace Yourself and Pets Care Records.
