A
gig
held at Strange Brew
on Sunday 10th October. The event starts at 19:30.
Very proud to welcome one of the most exciting artists working today, Lucrecia Dalt. A master of tension and release, she constructs conceptual soundtracks that revel in disorientation, depersonalisation, disassociation, & delirium.
Working within the fields of of abstract ambiance, contemporary concrète, ASMR folk and bad-trip pop, Pitchfork said "It's as though she is channeling supernatural energies, the Colombian experimental musician uses eerie electronics and vocal treatments to imbue unsettling world-building with a mystical sort of grace."
Absolutely essential if get kicks from the likes of: Felicia Atkinson, Cucina Povera, Annie Anxiety, Aaron Dilloway, Laurie Anderson, Coil, Gudrun Gut, Anna von Hausswolff & Arca.

For his Nzʉmbe project, Miguel Prado (Galicia-born, Bristol based conceptualist and musician) pens unusual, dramatic and very often romantic songs that delve into feelings of disenchantment, affection and humiliation. Built upon a musical bed of modular electronics and instrumental fragments, his recordings push forward the sound of the disembodied voice, laid bare in isolation, vulnerability and exposure. Currently he is also part of the band HARRGA with Dali De Saint Paul and co-hosts the podcast Social Discipline with Mattin.
Tiny Mix Tapes said: "“[Prado] squirms between infections, cruelty, and the abyss.”
One of the most highly considered and deeply philosophical artists operating in this city (or any other), his work as Nzʉmbe warrants comparisons with the latter-day output of Scott Walker or the glossolalia experiments of Robert Ashley.
