Boom! We have been waiting patiently to announce this one to you all, but the time is finally here!

Worm Disco Club are proud to present the one-and-only Emma-Jean Thackray at Bristol's newest venue: Strange Brew.

Over the past few years, Emma's profile has been going from strength to strength. 2020 alone has seen her release the "Rain Dance" EP on her own imprint "Movementt", a direct-to-disc recording entitled "UM YANG" for Nightdreamer and recently an inspired rework of "Speak No Evil" by Wayne Shorter as part of the fantastic Blue Note Re:Imagined compilation. Time after time, Emma proves her versatility as a player, composer and producer, continuing to take her sound to new heights...!

Last year she played an absolute stormer of a set for us at The Wormhole at Glastonbury Festival. We were due to have her perform earlier in the year at Fiddlers as part of The Bristol Jazz Festival, but unfortunately that had to be pulled due to Covid...so now we are extra happy to be re-announcing this gig!

There will be two show times that you can attend. 4-7pm for the early birds and 7-10pm for the evening beavers!

Warming up the room will be our very own Jackson Worm on the decks, with his selection of Jazz, Brazilian and Caribbean vinyl.

-----
In collaboration with the team at Strange Brew, this will be a safely socially distanced event. Tickets will be sold as tables of 5 people, with some additional “premium” tables with a better view available directly in front of the stage.

The music and events industry is in a very tricky place right now, by purchasing a ticket to this event you are helping to support four musicians, the DJ, the sound engineer, the promoters, the amazing venue; Strange Brew and MORE! We thank you deeply for showing love and supporting the music scene!

Sending Big Love to everyone.

Keep it Wrigglin' !
