Two selectors with a solid base in groovy and bumpin' tech-house, techno and electro go toe to toe all night long at the Brew. Danielle's style of DJing delicately crafts mutations of techno, electro, dubstep, breakbeat, jungle, ambient and experimental music but more crucially its the endless wells of misfits that fall between those generic signposts which give her sets the edge. A crucial piece to Bristol's music scene, Danielle was a close to affiliate to Idle Hands record shop and is a part of Mix Nights, a non-profit organisation she helped set up seven years ago to encourage women and non-binary people to explore the art of DJing.
Emerging from a lineage of inspired ravers immersed in the wide-eyed rush of dubstep’s golden era at Plastic People and London’s vibrant soundsystem culture, Amaliah has transcended these proud influences to stake her own inimitable claim within her native city’s ever-crowded clubbing landscape. Her DJ sets are signified by a purposeful energy informed by years of raving, where she unleashes anything from prog-laden house cuts alongside ethereal techno pumpers before diving headfirst into percussive bass warpers and beyond.
