held at Strange Brew
on Thursday 12th September. The event starts at 19:00.
We’re back! After a fallow year WetWare returns to Strange Brew for an evening of live audio visual performances.
This edition sees a band theme forming, with some WetWare regulars joined by musical collaborators and members of group projects. From Dark IDL’s improvised dub noise rituals; Chalky, Myr and Seppa’s jazz infused ambient textural excursions; to Moral Fibre and Evo Ethel’s sub-heavy experimental folk and vocal chant influenced musings.
As ever each music act is joined by a visual artist performing alongside them. With equal focus put on the projections and the way both elements interact with and influence each other. Aevi returns with their hyper-detailed fluid digital textures crunched and gritted through analog processors. While Puttyrubber brings their kaleidoscopic feedback induced swathes of colour.
This’ll be a seated show, giving full view of the visual art projected large on the big Brew screen and the performers on stage.
Line-up:
-> Dark IDL (Ben Chilton, Dali de Saint Paul, Miles Opland) + Aevi
-> Chalky, Myr & Seppa + PuttyRubber
-> Evo Ethel & Moral Fibre + Eden Brown
