See event details

A gig held at Strange Brew on Thursday 28th July. The event starts at 19:00.

A night of Audio Visual performances, bringing visuals to the fore.

This event the visuals are taking a turn from analog to digital. Visual and sonic artist Stormfield, head honcho of Combat Recordings, is venturing over to Bristol from regular haunts like FOLD in London. He's bringing a blend of weighty live machine music and hi-tech visuals.

Local thomas R, songwriter/producer of Poisonous Birds, steps out for his first solo show under his new moniker, alongside Jason Baker, best known for his 3D visuals in SCALPING and for his multi-screen work with Kayla Painter. Expect dusty sample collage and warped percussion scoring Jason’s signature psychedelic projections.

aevi and Moral Fibre are opening things up with improvised ambience and fluid 3D textures. Both enjoy working at the experimental ends of technologies for live performance, they'll bring a hybridised blend of software and hardware patching environments.

Expect a mix of audio drones, tones, textures, soundscapes and rhythms with visual shapes, spaces and swathes of colour.

Doors 19:00 - End 23:00.

Tix: £8 Advance, £10 On The Door.
