'Pay What You Can' Entry, all proceeds to the artists
A
gig
held at Strange Brew
on Thursday 5th August. The event starts at 19:00.
ELEVATOR SOUND PRESENTS:
Everyones favourite community modular store is branching out, snaking our patch cables down from Stokes Croft to infiltrate the wiring of Strange Brew. The Modular Mothership is taking over for one evening, beaming in the finest of Bristols live electronic acts.
Surgeons Girl:
With blissful atmospheric club releases on Livity Sound & Out Records, Surgeons Girl works with analogue hardware, vocals, piano and generative visuals with influences which lie in both the ambient and techno genres. Rolling echoes, thick basses and ethereal vocals abound!
Missterspoon:
Avon Terror Corps resident industrial grind-merchant Missterspoon has been a member of the Elevator Sound family since day one. Reknowned for her sonic pressure and chaotic dronescapes, punctuated with rippling acid snarls and crackling percussive stabs. One for your ears and your bones.
Moral Fibre:
Fresh as they come, the debut Moral Fibre live set combines breakbeat, field recordings, rich rolling synth chords - driven in part by contextualised natural processes. Taking plenty of inspiration from nature, this is one for the sonic foragers.
PAY WANT YOU WANT:
This gig is a 'pay what you can' show, no one will be turned away for lack of funds and all money raised on the door goes straight to the artists as direct support for our local community.
