KatzPascale + special guests
Tuesday 27th October 2026
7pm - 10:30pm

KatzPascale, the NYC based neo-classical-post-punk-anti-pop duo composed of Sammi Katzmann and Jenna Pascale, combines the haunting warmth of the cello with the soulful, expressive tones of the saxophone, sending both through loop and effect pedals to lay ground for vocals as an instrument. Drawing from both classical and contemporary idioms, their music navigates the sonic tension between emotional intimacy and experimental rigor. Through live performance and recorded work, KatzPascale places feeling over formalism— crafting immersive sound worlds that challenge conventions in both classical and indie spheres. On stage, KatzPascale transforms performance into experience. Their live shows often begin in silence, guiding audiences through sensory immersion with elements like dim lighting, evocative spatial design, and an emphasis on listening with more than just the ears. What might start as quiet ambient resonance can become a profound emotional arc, leaving listeners feeling both stripped open and transported. “Their work lives up to its unofficial mantra: 'the music makes people cry,' resonating with both listeners and critics through its raw intensity.” - Cheyenne Leitch, SPIN Magazine.
