"Wetware’s patented AV futureshock plugs into the Strange Brew mainframe with bleeping hardware hymnals from Surgeons Girl and Dan Thorman + looping sax and vocal transcendence from Zetetic. And, of course, some of the most stunning visual netherworlds you’ll see this side of 2050 from Daisy Dickinson, Aevi and Lou Zon – no VR goggles needed (for now)."

A gig held at Strange Brew on Wednesday 10th June. The event starts at 19:00.
WetWare returns to Brew for an evening of live audio visual performances. Bean bags and seats at the ready, so get comfy, lean back, and zone in to the visuals and performers on stage.
Expect a mix of ambient, textural, dubbed out and distorted electronic music framed with projections of formless swathes of colour, hyper-detailed fluid textures, and warped found footage.
We're excited to welcome Surgeons Girl and Daisy Dickinson for a live performance of their AV project. Surgeons Girl's distinctive haunting analogue arpeggios and fluttering rhythms combine with Daisy Dickinson's formless swathes of lush textured colours.
Returning to WetWare after their last performance back in September 2024 are now newly named Zetetic. The live improv group project of artists Chalky, Seppa and Myr sees them combine heavily effected sax, guitar and bass with percussive loops and field recordings in a dubbed out, jazz tinged style. Joining them on visuals is WetWare regular Aevi. Their fluid clouds of colour melding, weaving and warping alongside the music.
And joining WetWare for the first time are Dan Thorman and Lou Zon. Thorman's ritualistic lush ambient explorations pair with Lou Zon's analogue processing shaped nature footage, transporting us to immersive dreamlike landscapes.
