Soul Glo - at Strange Brew
£10 tickets available from Alt / See / Gigantic

A gig held at Strange Brew on Wednesday 14th September. The event starts at 19:00.

Formed in 2014, the quartet of Philadelphia based hardcore punkers have garnered a reputation for their outspoken criticisms and commentary on America’s systematic failures. Over five years Soul Glo conceptualized and produced “Diaspora Problems,” nearly completely alone. The demo and tracking process was handled exclusively by the band’s bassist GG and engineer/close friend Evan Bernard. Agreeing to work with Epitaph records shortly before they eventually released the album, the band expressed doubts that the label knew what they were signing up for. Their absurdist humour, radical lyrics and obstinate aggression all contribute to the all-encompassing vigorous intensity of their performance.
