Raise the Bar is back in the new year in what is set to be a phenomenal event for spoken word fans and performers, with a headline performance from the incredible Anthony Anaxagorou!
Supporting this month we are also proud to present feature sets from Jeremy Toombs, as well as the duo of Tom Sastry and Josh Ward.
Raise the Bar brings together students, non-students, and local writers of all ages, backgrounds and lyrical styles to provide a platform for artists to showcase and perform their work, as well as providing the very best entertainment for poetry fans. We are hugely invested in talent development and offer an open mic each month, which you can sign up for on a first come first serve basis by emailing rtbspokenword@http://www.gmail.com or messaging our Facebook page directly.
Time: Doors at 7:30pm, 8:00pm start.
