Events on Sunday 10th April
“A poetry walk in downtown Bristol led by the IsamBards, Pameli Benham, Dominic Fisher, Deborah Harvey and David C Johnson, who will share their original poetry inspired by the places and people that will be visited on this promenade from the Bear Pit to Colston’s empty plinth via hidden corners old and new. Come hear of giants, preachers, saints and sinners. Previous IsamBard Poetry Walks have included Arnos Vale Cemetery, Brunel’s Bristol, Bristol Botanic Garden and the Clifton Suspension Bridge. The In Town walk will take just over an hour. ( No steps, some inclines) Meet at the Bearpit 11.00a.m 10th April.”
