“Spindle Ensemble are an instrumental quartet from Bristol's Bloom collective. Taking inspiration from artists such as Erik Satie, Moondog and Mulatu Astatke they perform original compositions that hover between classical, jazz and folk idioms. “When two experienced guitarists whose combined experience ranges across classical, Flamenco, jazz and African come together you can expect a bit of a masterclass. Matt Sullivan plays for dance troupe Camino del Flamenco and Jon Lewis is half of pan-African acoustic duo TwoMan Ting but, in between times, Manos Puestas is their chance to explore the joys of acoustic guitar together.”
