“Zahra and Sam play a fusion of Folk, Jazz and Bluegrass music. Zahra is an Irish guitar-playing singer-songwriter and Sam plays the five-string banjo in the Bluegrass style. Both have been gigging all over the UK and European festival scene for the last few years with their bands The Midnight Zu, Ushti Baba and Old Baby Mackerel, and have now come together as a duo. Expect vocal harmonies woven into intricate, beautiful as well as foot tapping music that fuses sensitive Folk, sensual Jazz and upbeat Bluegrass tunes.”
