“Care is the feature length adaptation of Klein's ICA commissioned musical from 2018, and is an autobiography, musical, animation and diary entry that explores the social care system, friendship and angst through the eyes of Abike (played by Klein) who's been moved from foster home to foster home and what happens when her sister goes missing. It is an ambitious feature film debut which is written, directed, edited and scored by Klein.”

“The book plunges us into octopus raves and Sega Megadrive oceans, in the company of Saab hermit crabs. These adventurous poems delight in human and nonhuman intimacies, teem with life, ponder bug sex and put masculinities under the microscope.”

“Expect stories about the hair on our heads and the hair on our bodies. Stories about puberty, identity and religion. Getting your hair cut at the barbers, or letting your friend cut your hair during lockdown. Dyeing your hair for a change of style, or dyeing your hair after a breakup. Stories about hijabs, habits and turbans. Maybe you've never cut your hair, or maybe you don't have any at all. Armpit hair, facial hair and pubic hair. Straight hair, queer hair, braided hair. Locs, braids and cornrows. Pigtails, nits and dandruff. Scrunchies, fringes and combs. Hair as a symbol of belonging, or hair as a means of segregation. Society, belief and identity.”

“Robi had a folk music upbringing (he was named after ISB's Robin Williamson), and spent formative years in post punk and garage rock bands. These days he draws on a far broader palette characterised by traces of 70s psychedelia and overtones from global music scenes. Robi's experiences as a session guitarist in Taipei lend a unique quality to his sound.”
