“On the 23rd September the Canteen will host it's first ever official Ping Pong Tournament, with a goal of raising £400 to buy a new table and revamp the area! The tournament is open to everybody. All ticket sales serve as a donation and this is a non-profit event.”

“You the audience are the TV executives being shown the first screening of a television drama, the direction of which will be decided by you in the opening moments. Love, lust, fear, despair, mild annoyance – anything can and will happen. Expect lots of laughs and audience interaction as the story unfolds before you.”

“The Young Composers’ Academy (YCA) and New Music in the South West help to invigorate the region’s new music scene whilst creating inspiring opportunities for its most talented young composers. Hear Bristol Ensemble performing great new music by the region’s best young composers, alongside recent repertoire classics and music specially commissioned to celebrate the life and work of Martin Luther King on the 50th anniversary of his assassination.”

“The addition to the line up that sees long time producer, Dominic Mitchinson enter the lions den, has had a significant impact on Spectres songs and writing process. The result has been a record full of accentuated punches and hooks, marked by Spectres unrelentingly and distinctive wall of noise. Lyrically Joe Hatt has surpassed himself once again as his at times uncomfortably truthful lyrics lay social commentary to biases, sexual predators and corporate junkies to name a few. Not many are let off the hook on this album. Hypocrites be warned.”

“Following the success of their 2015 album Astronautilus, jazz-rock mavericks Get The Blessing return with their spellbinding new Album ‘Bristopia’. Blending their mutant jazz sensibilities with spacey electronics and post rock atmospheres, ‘Bristopia’ ventures into new, unexplored territories.”
