“Brunel was a big fan of Shakespeare and ships. Stored away amongst his memorabilia, the hilarious Natural Theatre Company has ‘unearthed’ an early work, written when Will was just a young whippersnapper. This unpublished play features early sketches of his most iconic characters, first drafts of famous scenes…and just a little bit of nonsense. Shakespeare Undone! takes you on a theatrical journey through the nooks and crannies of the SS Great Britain, where the best bits of Shakespeare will come to life around you!”

“Firebird festival started as an idea to celebrate the anniversary of us taking over the studios and turning it into one of the best studios in the city. All of the bands that you see onstage, rehearse with us and it’s our way of saying thank you to the bands who use our studios.”

“It’s a long thread that stretches all the way from North Carolina to Staffordshire but that’s what binds this transatlantic duo. Their brand of British Americana brings the English folk troubadour and North American roots music together, finding common ground in the stuff of everyday life - love, loss, farming and suicide - all wrapped up in fine harmony vocals and an amount of knee slapping.”

“After last year’s moving tribute marking the centenary of the end of the First World War, Bristol’s mighty Gurt Lush Choir is turning to lighter things. Supported by its sibling Bristol MAN Chorus, the choir is celebrating its 10th birthday in 2019 with two concerts this summer and a further two in the autumn, together reviving at least 20 of its ‘gurtest’ hits. This is the first of those concerts.”

“Join us this Sunday for an evening of modern Jazz featuring the fantastic Timothy Funnel on Piano. Tim is quickly gaining a reputation as one of Bristol's top pianists, known for his sensitive use of space, modern harmony and polyrhythms, he is surely one to watch. Tim will be joined by Adam Stokes, Guillaume Ottaviani and Steve Fry. (Gtr, Bass, Drums)”
