"Tomorrow night's Dialogue line-up is filled with talented locals whose productions spread across the musical spectrum. Headlining the party is the intense and unpredictable techno Hessle Audio’s Bruce. Support from the euphoric melodies of Chiverin’s Body Clocks, the experimental pop of Dilla-esque Yuki Ame, and the industrial bass music of SubPolity boss Yu The Engineer. A
clubnight
held at Take Five Cafe
on Friday 10th February. The event starts at 23:00pm.
We return to the Take 5 basement with another great lineup (this time a purely Bristol-based affair) with some our favourite artists and DJs. We are expecting this to be a busy night so highly recommend getting advance tickets to guarantee entry!
BRUCE (Hessle Audio / Idle Hands / Timedance)
Bristol-based producer well known for his unique style of off-kilter techno. Bruce's 'I'm Alright Mate' and 'The Trouble With Wilderness' were some of our favourite releases of 2016, so excited to bring one of the most innovative producers in UK techno to the basement. You won't be disappointed!
BODY CLOCKS (Chiverin)
Notorious disco charlatans Body Clocks returned to Bristol in the early Noughties for another shot at the big time. Their signature mixture of anguished retch-folk and kinky r'n'b took the city by storm, culminating in a controversial appearance on Blue Peter in '06. Speaketh their name and hear the breath of Satan.
Yuki Ame’s music is steeped in early hip-hop influences, appreciation for techno and the exploration of the fringes of melody driven electronic music. The Bristol based producer and singer paints from a palette of eclectic influences in his live sets and DJs as a resident and founder of 'Semi Peppered'.
