The Palace International Film Festival Presents…
Queer Dystopia: Summer Solstice for the Dissociated
We are raising dollar bills for The Palace International Film Festival (www.palacefilmfest.org)l, Bristol’s queer film festival as we are planning our 2020 edition!
As part of our Queer Dystopia series, we present to you an electronic line-up for those that are disassociated with the summer solstice; forget about Bristol’s sun-worshippers and enter a dingy basement in Stokes Croft to dance to queer electronic music and slimey performances all night….what can’t you love about that…
LINE UP:

PET BITCH
CLEMENTE
ASTRYD
+ SLIME TIME
♥ ℭ ♥
DJ and producer delivering music to sound to the ears; like how satin feels to touch for a body, combined with the breathtaking depth of the cathedral bells ringing noon during a sultry summer day in Santiago de Compostela.

Clemente
a DJ with a great passion for everything electronic. Expect thoughtful ambient and experimental music as well as a good dose of techno and 21st century pop divas in his set.
Pet Bitch
With a love for all things high-octane, kitsch and glitchy, Pet Bitch will be bringing a suitably hyper-cute selection of nightcore, trashy-pop, and hardcore gems to the dance floor.
SLIME TIME
Hypnotised by UV lights and bioluminescence, Aequorea Victoria creates creature-human hybrids, videos and interactive spaces responding to mating rituals of the Leopard Slug and Deep Sea Angler Fish. Interactive installation, Slime Time, employs UV-reactive slime as a tactile medium to combat anxiety and as a visual representation of the slug’s male/female dichotomy-challenging genitalia as a platform to discuss queerness and gender fluidity
INTOLERANT OF INTOLERANCE
This is a queer event and space that welcomes everyone, we are a community that respect each others space and look out for each other. We will not tolerate and will take action against racism, homo/transphobia, misogyny and any other forms of discrimination / knob-head mentality. xoxo
THE FILM FEST
The Palace International Film Festival emerged from The Palace Collective (www.thepalacecollective.org) in 2017. The aim of our film festival is to give platform to the LGBTQ voice and to explore progressive queer attitudes. We connect queer work with the non linear and non-conventional in our Palace laboratory, creating conversations and elevating experimentation for the residents and public to interact with.
