Mike Millrain - Music
Mike Millrain aka Large Joints aka D Base aka DJ South Central aka Urban Myths… the list goes on, this man of many names is one of the most prolific artists in UKG history. With countless killer garage & house tracks via his many aliases and as part of the legendary group G.O.D on labels like Nice 'N' Ripe- and its sublabels, FX and more recently Soul Revolution - his own imprint and Bristol’s own Dr. Banana. His sometimes moody, sometimes dreamy productions have been captivating clubbers for over 20 years with their moody basslines, blissed out chords and soulful R’n’B samples. His tracks perfectly capture the spirit of the UK underground, we can’t wait for him to join us and bring those UKG vibes we all love on the night.
Bushido.:
Bushido is a go to artist for all fiends of punchy club tunes that capture the spirit of dancehall, grime and techno. His tracks are ever changing journeys through whatever style he lays down and you can never put a finger on the course his tracks will take, his spontaneous use of churning subbass, glacial synths, textured drums or a catchy vocal chop makes it hard to not go back to his tracks. He’s released / featured on some of our favourite imprints / platforms such as Astral Black, Liminal Sounds, Pear Drops, The Astral Plane & Hyponik - where the latter two were mixes that show his musical influences and selections are just as well thought out as his productions.
Residents:
Kodak Kreed DJs Jawjii, L.A. Furneaux & Iceman will be bringing you the finest in selections and blends. Jawjii will be bringing you the dark 2 step / dubstep vibes with some classic UKG cuts, L.A. Furneaux with the sharpest club & grime of today blended with some R’n’B & Hip-Hop favourites and Iceman bringing footwork, 140, drill & new-wave heaters.
