Basket of Light

Named after Pentangle’s ear-bending album, Basket of Light is the very first shakedown love child of Tambourine hands - uplifting dancing, hands held high, heavyweight quadraphonic sound, swimming lakes, workshops and lights in the sky. What we all need.

We’ve invited all our favourite DJs who play music from every corner of the audiosphere to come and join us for a weekend in the Welsh countryside. It’s been a long time since we’ve all been in the place dancing. Basket of Light is going to get us there!

We’ll be under one of the UK’s darkest night skies, hidden away in the Brecon Beacons, featuring some very special light installations and projections illuminating the ceiling above the dancefloor.

It’s time for a reunion dance! We've got a capacity of just 250, so it's gonna be a super intimate affair. If you want to come, but can’t afford the ticket price - please send an email to tambohands@gmail.com as we have a few spots open for volunteers.

And one last thing - Basket of Light is going to be a dancefloor for everybody, that we’ll make together. We hope you feel that in the music, the people who play it and the people who come for it.

Camping:
There is a lovely campsite in which you can pitch your own tent, and we also have furnished bell tents available for £150 (sleeps 4). Please email us - tambohands@gmail.com - if you would like to book a bell tent.

**In the event of cancellation due to COVID19**
Everything looks good for us to go ahead with the festival this year - but if changes to the government's roadmap for opening up after COVID inhibit this, all tickets will be valid for next year, or will be eligible for a full refund!

Please note that if we are forced to cut capacity due to government restrictions, we will operate on a first come first serve basis. For example, if we are limited to a capacity of 200, the first 200 people who bought tickets will be able to attend and the rest will be refunded.
