"Basket of Light is possibly the best small (400 cap) festival to crop up in Wales (via Bristol). Boasting lighting installations, waged tickets + diverse sounds from the jazz / fusion / funk realms (like Etuk Ubong and Snazzback) to hi-NRG club DJs (like Manuka Honey and Princess Koko). It’s clear the attention here is on the experience, not the profit margin - so you’re in for a good time."

This year we're introducing ticket pricing based on earnings. If you earn over £30,000 a year, we're asking you to pay an extra 20 quid for your ticket. Please be honest about this, as all the funds from this will go towards covering unwaged tickets to enable people who aren't in work to come to the festival.
If you're unwaged or on a low wage which doesn't allow you to buy a full price ticket, drop us a line at [email protected]
We welcome all ages - and under 12s come free - please purchase a free ticket for under 12s so we know how many children to expect on site. If you're planning to bring anyone between the ages of 12 and 21, please get in touch too. We're also working to make the festival site as accessible as possible, so please let us know if you have any specific requirements.
The location of the festival site close to the English/Welsh border will be released to ticket holders nearer the time!
Camping:
There is a lovely campsite in which you can pitch your own tent, and we also have furnished bell tents available for £170 (sleeps 4). Please email us - [email protected] - if you would like to book a bell tent.
