A
event
on Friday 21st June. The event starts at 17:00.
Borderlands Charity has recently set up a refugee rock climbing group, Refugees Rock, at the Bristol Mothership climbing gym.
Every other week we come together to learn to climb, have fun and socialise. We believe in the physical and mental power of climbing and want to make it more accessible to the Bristol refugee community.
Join us on the 21 June to give climbing a go, enter a raffle and take part in a friendly competition for the chance to win great prizes! Money raised will help Borderlands to continue running the Refugees Rock programme, and enable us to also venture outside and experience the joys of nature and real rock climbing.
Standard entry fee to come along applies, but any refugee or asylum seeker will have free entry to the climbing centre on the day.
Raffle prizes include:
- Lattice training board, mini bars, pull up bands and peanut rollers
- Patagonia keep cups and notebook
- Gorp Garb t-shirt
