BASH: Learn self-defence for the dance floor!

Blending zumba, self-defence and disco tunes, this workshop is for women, girls and gender-marginalised people who want to move, shout and take up space! Lycra, leg-warmers and liberation come together in this one hour workshop, where you’ll:

Learn basic self-defence skills
Dance like you’re in a 1980s workout video
Get clear, no-BS info on safety and self-protection

All fitness levels & abilities welcome — come as you are.

BASH is led by the Birmingham-based artist & activist duo, Calico, who use performance, protest and tech to tackle gendered violence — from street theatre to VR police training. Their show, Curfew, is coming to Temple Church on 27th & 28th July.
