Workshop: Creative Listening and Self-Care with Ziggy Slingsby at The Albany Centre

A event on Sunday 26th October. The event starts at 13:00.


A workshop for circus performers and movers of all disciplines. Exploring listening to yourself and how you feel, as a starting point for movement, expression and play. This workshop will include, movement, shiatsu massage and sharing within the group.

Circus City invites you to bring yourself and your equipment for an afternoon of circus self-care.

Open to dance and circus practitioners of all levels, both professional and enthusiasts 18+. Limited spaces!

After booking you will be sent a form to submit a few more details. Silks and ropes can be provided if needed. If you have a discipline which needs extra space (For example: Chinese pole or Cyr Wheel), please be in touch with Ziggy to discuss [email protected].

The workshop will run 1pm - 4pm. Doors at 12:45pm

About the teacher:
Ziggy is an aerial performer, teacher and shiatsu practitioner. For over ten years she has been creating and developing self-care, movement and devising workshops specifically for aerialists. For Circus City Festival she is excited to open her practice to all movement and circus performers.
