98077 / BS8 represents a first for Frankie 2 Handz, moving beyond singles into a cohesive body of work. The title stitches together two postcodes: one from his village in Sicily, the other from Bristol where he lives now. It's a simple idea that became the foundation for everything. He recorded field recordings in both locations and embedded them throughout all five tracks, creating a sonic thread between past and present.
The cover photo came first, actually. Shot inside a hotel service lift during a work shift, it was the first picture he took after shaving his head, something he'd been self-conscious about for a while. But the image felt right, almost cinematic in its starkness, and that moment of acceptance became the catalyst for the entire project. The EP grew around that photo, around the idea of confronting change and finding something worth keeping in the process.
The five tracks may don't sound alike, but they're connected by the field recordings, synthesisers sounds choices and by the journey between two places. It's about growth, roots, and the space in between where you figure out who you're becoming.
LAZYDAYS is a six-track EP blending soul, funk, latin vibes, psychedelia, and soft rock. A warm,
elastic work built on real instruments, analog textures, and a taste for imperfection that makes
everything more human.
The project reflects Bacino's personality: a musician who doesn't chase technical perfection but
seeks emotion, color, and movement. The atmosphere shifts between relaxation and rhythm, with an
aesthetic that recalls tapes, vinyl, and tube amplifiers.
