Sean Edwards @ The Arc Sessions

Come and discover Sean Edwards at The Arc Sessions. Our new series exploring Bristol's independent music scene with an innovative format that includes, interviews, deep listning and music selection by the artist.

Sean Edwards is part of a new wave of UK indie artists bringing the focus back to songwriting, character and emotional honesty. Rooted in the lineage of The Beatles, Oasis and Blur, his music blends nostalgic British storytelling with a modern, conversational voice — prioritising feeling over polish and identity over trend.

There’s a sense of someone observing and questioning himself in real time running through his writing - giving the songs a tone that feels personal without becoming insular, and reflective without losing its edge.

Still early in his journey, Edwards has already built a foundation in the real world, selling out his debut headline show in Bristol and earning support from BBC Introducing, DHP, and Scruff of the Neck. Rather than chasing quick wins, he’s focused on building something that lasts.

Exposure Therapy, his debut album, is on the way

The Arc Sessions is a new monthly show, happening live at The Arc, 27 Broad Street BS1 2HG, and broadcasted live from Arc Radio.
