30th September (Weds)
6:30 Doors, 7:00 Film starts
The Arc (Under Palestine Museum Culture Centre) (27 Broad St, Bristol BS1 2HG)

We will be screening two short films. Firstly, we will follow Mohammed el-Kurd and Zvi Benninga trying to save their neighbourhood of Shiekh Jarrah, Jerusalem from Zionist settlers in ‘My Neighbourhood’, and find out where Mohammed is now.

We will then move from the West Bank to Gaza to watch as the free running pair, Abdullah and Mohammad, introduce us to the art and discipline of parkour and what it means to them, living in the Khan Younis refugee camp, in ‘Free Running Gaza’.

Throughout the evening you can indulge in delicious Levantine food provided by local business and homemade goodies. Vegan and GF options available, first come first serve. You can also find out more about this fundraiser and about Palestine at our info stall.

Accessibility info: The room where we do the screening is wheelchair accessible, but the door to access to the disabled toilets is temporarily limited to 90cm wide whilst renovation works continue. We are dedicated to making the event as accessible and inclusive as we can. If the ticket price is an issue, or if you have any accessibility requirement, please get in touch through dm-ing Bristol Leftist Collective on Instagram!

All money raised from this event will be given directly to families in Gaza and to Bristol-based Palestinian, making this an evening of true solidarity, and not one to be missed!
