This autumn The Basement will be closing its doors for the final time. Sadly the place where we've gathered, danced and emoted profusely for many years will be no more! The closure is caused by upcoming 'development' of the building which is outside our control.

We feel that The Basement has been a unique place, with its own special personality, and have always tried to do something different from the average there. All events have been as affordable and welcoming as possible. Thanks again - to LoveBristol, to all our guest artists, and to you for coming along.

Our swansong will be two events, a penultimate event and a final event!

Strap on your dancing shoes and come to the penultimate event on Saturday 10th September 2022. Joining us underground, from 10PM, will be:
