£8.00

A gig held at The Be-Bop Club on Friday 10th October. The event starts at 20:00.

The Nigel Price Organ Trio - winners of the 2010 Parliamentary Jazz Awards for'best jazz ensemble' - is led by one of Britain's finest guitarists Nigel Price - ex James Taylor Quartet and also a regular performer at Ronnie Scott's. His blend of flowing bebop lines, blues feeling and the will to swing has made him a big hit with modern jazz fans. Together with Matt Home on drums and Pete Whittaker on Hammond organ this is one of the most exciting jazz bands in the UK today. Their autumn 2014 tour is to promote their new CD Hit The Road, which was an Evening Standard Jazz CD Of The Week back in May. They've visited the Be-Bop twice before as a trio for highly memorable gigs, but for this gig they are expanded to quartet by the addition of Greek tenor sax virtuoso Vasilis Xenopoulos who has been making quite an impact since moving to London.
