Brandon Allen - tenor/soprano saxes, Andy Hague - trumpet, Jim Blomfield - piano, Chris Jones - bass, Ryan Thrupp - drums

For our season finale we present sax superstar Brandon Allen. Brandon is originally from Perth in Western Australia, but moved to the UK in 2000. Since then he has become one of the UK's best known players and is recognised world wide for his work with the Kyle Eastwood Quintet. Brandon has a long association with trumpeter Quentin Collins who guested for us back in 2023. Besides playing together with Kyle Eastwood, they have released two albums as the QCBA organ quartet. Brandon has also paid homage to some of his favourite players with albums The Stanley Turrentine Project and The Gene Ammons Project, and is currently playing live as "Some Kinda Mean - the music of David Fathead Newman."

For tonight's programme Brandon is joined in the frontline by trumpeter Andy Hague, with club favourites Jim Blomfield, Chris Jones and Ryan Thrupp making up the rhythm section for a night of no-nonsense Blue Note style jazz.

Entry requirements: no age restrictions
