• Now is the time for all of us to find out what real Latin American music means.
• Cumbia is known in Latin America as the Queen of music. Unfortunately, in other parts of the world it is not as well known as it is in Latin America. I bring this rhythm and this dance right here in Bristol, for you all. To see and feel an energy so strong that you have never felt it before.
• The genre of Cumbia Music was invented in Colombia in the late 1800s. And then from the 1950s it was taken to other countries in Latin America.
• Cumbia dance classes from Mexico and Colombia. Only at The Bear Inn pub ( 261 Hotwell road )
• The Latin genre for everyone.
• Many people are ashamed to dance in the open air, like in Millennium Square. So that's why we have a place that we can learn dancing Cumbia indoors. And that is The Bear Inn pub on 261 Howells Road.
•I want to make one more clarification, that these are not just simple indoor dance classes. It is a World project called "Ritmo y Sabor" , translated means "Rhythm and Flavour"
• This project is created by me
( Virgil Y Cumbias ) with the help and support of many Cumbia organizations and communities from Mexico to expand this Music all over England.
• As the Ambassador of Cumbia Sonidera i want you to be part of this project and to grow a community of Cumbia dancers here in Bristol.
• I say... let's fill the Bear Inn pub from 7 PM until 8 PM and let's create together good moments of our life.
• The only thing you need to bring with you is... your confy outfit and your friends who Love dancing.
