See event details

A event on Wednesday 28th January. The event starts at 18:30.

Come and join for an evening centred around community, safety, grounding, growth, and celebration. Come as you are to be heard, seen and held in collective ritual, to nurture and empower mind, body, and spirit.

Rooted is founded and facilitated by Jessica Heaton (she/her) – Huddersfield born with Caribbean heritage, queer, plant medicine facilitator and energy worker, with a background in mental health support.

Each month I'll facilitate a main activity centred around connection such as:

*Cacao Ceremony
*Sharing Circle
*Show and Tell
*Creative Activities
*Guided Meditations
*Sound Healing
*Co-created Community

This session will be a space to honour our stories, our roots, and our hearts.

We will begin by sharing Blue Lotus Tea. The roots of origin of Blue Lotus is Ancient Egypt, where it was used in celebrations and dance rituals. We will drink to promote deep relaxation of mind and body through a Guided Meditation. Blue lotus offers;

✨ Mood Enhancement – Subtle euphoric and uplifting properties

✨ Nervous System Support – Natural alkaloids that help soothe the body and release tension.

✨ Enhanced Visualisation – Opening the mind to vivid imagery during our journey.

Then, the space is yours. The rest of our evening will be a Culture & Heritage Show & Tell. This is an invitation to share a piece of your history, your fusion of culture and the magic of your roots.

If you don’t want or feel like bringing anything, that’s ok - just bring yourself - this is a space to connect, learn and be ❤ If you want to bring something :

-Anything that feels like abit of you -Food or drinks -Dance, song, or poetry -Family heirlooms or art -Any item with a personal story.

Come as you are, and bring a piece of your magic with you.

Lots of love and hope to see you there!
