Time Warp Double Bill at The Bristol Improv Theatre
Standard: £13 | Concession: £10

A event on Friday 27th June. The event starts at 20:00.

Ever thought that an improv show was a little too linear?

In this show bill two acts mix it up, playing with time in their own unique ways.

The Groundhogs:
The Groundhogs originated as part of Bristol Longform Comedy and are icons of Bristol’s longform improv scene. Watch their cast relive the same scene over and over – and see how the tiniest of changes can lead to a totally different future, exploring the many different ways that a single scene could have gone…but didn’t.

Storm Compass:
Love, loss, hope, regret…

The characters may change but some stories stay the same across time, connecting us to a human core.

Inspired by the 3-hour epic movie Cloud Atlas but rewritten on the fly in just 45 minutes. Award-winning improvisers Real Positive Poles present a series of interconnected stories set across time, from the stone age to the far future and everything in between.

No prior knowledge required, in fact we actively recommend against it.

Real Positive Poles are the creators of After Dusk: The Improvised Twilight Zone. Winner of The Brighton Seagull’s Best Improvised Show award.

“A beautiful demonstration of everything that improvised performance can be” ★★★★★ – The Reviews Hub
