Stillpoint Cinema presents State Azure at The Bristol Megascreen

A gig on Friday 18th September. The event starts at 20:00.

Stillpoint Cinema is a new format that fuses immersive sound, captivating visuals and wellbeing practice into one experience - a space for you to step away from the noise, slow down, and release the fizzy energy from your week.

This September, State Azure’s music will fill Bristol Megascreen along with mesmerising organicosmic visuals from Rod & Cone (Murcof, Paolo Nutini, Hauschka). Inspiral Flowstate will prime your senses with a tailored Soma Breathwork session.

State Azure's music is expansive electronic ambience -  sweeping synths, drifting textures and warm analog pads. Inspired by The Berlin School electronica (Tangerine Dream and Klaus Schulze) and epic soundtracks such as Vangelis’ Bladerunner, State Azure’s sonic worlds unfold gradually, inviting you to listen deeply and lose your sense of time. Presented in 5.1 immersive audio through the Megascreen's epic sound system, this isn't headphone chillout - it is collective deep-listening as you expand inside the music.

The evening begins with 45 minutes of guided Soma breathwork led in-person by Andy Squiff of Inspiral Flowstate. This style of breathwork combines conscious breathing with music and rhythm to help you release tension, quiet the mind and reconnect with yourself -  a chance to leave the noise of the day behind, settle into your body and prepare for the experience ahead.

0% functional drinks from Nazcal, a nootropic and adaptogen-infused drinks company from Bristol, will be served in the foyer.

Breathe. Listen. Expand.

Entry requirements: 16+, any under 18s accompanied by 21+ adult 1:1 ratio
