The Makings are a 7-piece souladelic rock fusion band, bringing powerful, electrifying sounds. Their message is simple: life can be unpredictable, so while we’re here, let’s dance, sing, and savour our moments together.

They specialise in big and bold energy — from searing horn lines and rich three-part harmonies to soaring synth and guitar solos, all driven by a rhythm section that grooves with purpose and precision. Think dancefloor heat meets soul-soaked storytelling.

Their live show is more than a gig — it’s a full-throttle experience, refined over years of playing together to bring something genuinely original to the stage. With their unmistakable sound and magnetic presence, The Makings have become a standout force in the South West scene. If you haven’t caught them live yet, now’s the time.

Entry requirements: 18+
