Gurt Lush Choir at The Canteen
See event details

A gig held at The Canteen on Monday 18th May. The event starts at 20:30.

Since 2009, Gurt Lush Choir has been one of the most thrilling open-access choirs within the Bristol area. Singing all styles of music and performing to sell-out crowds in some of the area’s greatest venues.

The Lush love to collaborate and over the years have worked with Bristol Schools Philharmonia, Andy Sheppard, Sam Lee, Project Zulu, Opera Anywhere, UWE Big Band, Bristol Youth Choir, Russian ensemble Lyra, the Gypsy Stars, the Fantasy Orchestra, plus many other musicians and local groups big and small. You’ll often find them out and about busking or singing in charity performances.

With a reputation for performing challenging, exotic and downright bizarre music. If the lyrics are unpronounceable, they’ll probably give it a go.

They will be singing ‘Queen’s' Bohemian Rhapsody and a ‘Bowie' Space Medley along with a selection of other classical and folk hits...

Free taster session too, so get in, babbers!
