With Christmas and the New Year out of the way, celebrations tins being used for storing absolutely anything other than chocolates, and Gym attendances already starting to dwindle, you can now fully concentrate on your New Year's resolution to go out and watch more live music. To help you to achieve this, we will be back at our Stokes Croft base-camp for the first of our live Hip Hop Cypher sessions of 2017!

Following on from last year's sessions, the band consisting of some of Bristol's finest players will be providing the sonic tapestry for any MCs/Singers/Poets/Beatboxers that want to come and jump up on stage with us.

Think heavy Hip Hop grooves, soulful licks and funky breaks, expertly blended and served over ice cold bars. Last year, we had plenty of dope guests passing through and this year we hope to build on what is the best way to spend a Monday night on Stokes Croft (without being arrested).

- our hosts Goose and Social Conscience will be on-deck to keep the energy high and the rhymes flowing
