There’s much stuff called psychedelia these days, and very good it can be, but few outfits catch that summer-of-love experimental breeziness as perfectly as Brighton’s joyful Jouis. If you’ve ever heard Pink Floyd’s early work, or the debut Crosby, Stills and Nash LP you’ll catch those cosmic echoes in the harmony vocals and drifting instrumental riffs.
