Influenced by their love of cult sci-fi movies, Stranger Things, Bladerunner, Graphic Comics, Afro Futurism, Orwell, Sheffield/French Wave Electronica, New Wave, P Funk and Prog, the idea of writing songs about shining a light on the people in the shadows, building a craft called the Starship Motherchild, jumping off planet earth and flying off into outer space in search of a more enlightened existence evolved..

Astrels' sound is described as cinematic, dystopian, pop, rock electronica with vintage synths, phat beats, throbbing bass, soaring vocals and killer hooks and now, with their incendiary live shows, Astrels are gaining legions of fans with with every gig they play and are guaranteed to lift you to a feeling of hope.

*£6 after 9:30pm

Entry requirements: 18+
