Originating from Selly Oak, Birmingham, Melts the Band are an acid brass/brass rock fusion group that blend together a range of influences to create an electrifying sound that will make you move. Described as "one to watch" (Redbrick Music) with their groovy tuba basslines and strong brass and sax melodies, they totally transform the sonic soundscape of your expectations. The band use their range of classical and popular training to create new sounds and experiences in their music, generating an outlet for the craziness that is life in the 21st century.

"In the moment, it was difficult to see how any trendy 20-something would not appreciate brass, as the boiler-suited-and-booted lads swayed to the beat, with orange stage lights reflecting off their tinted John Lennon sunnies and shiny instruments." (Redbrick Music)

*£6 after 9:30pm
