A rising star in the Bristol scene, Funk & Disorderly channels the city’s contemporary jazz sounds into a unique sound world. His music effortlessly blends the warmth of 90s hip-hop, afrobeat and 60s Blue Note with sprawling downtempo rhythms and hard-hitting beats. His debut release 'FNK' features some of Bristol's finest up-and-coming musicians including Lyrebird, and Tiny Chapter of Waldo's Gift. In collaboration with Snazzback wizard Chris Langton, he brings to The Canteen a night of originals and golden-age classics interpreted through a 3-piece horn section.
