This lot of acoustic Londoners take an amused look at musical pigeonholes and then quietly sidestep them in favour of'experimental avant-pop'. It's a paradox that allows them to introduce Philip Glass to Brian Wilson, call in Spiro and write a jauntily fractured pop song that'll (sadly) never trouble the charts, despite beautiful sound textures and sweet harmony vocals. But we get it, don't we?
