Absurd Applique Upcycling - Slow Fashion Social

Join us this month for another upcycling workshop - focusing on using second hand fabrics to make something odd and interesting from an item of clothing which might need some care and repair.

The absurd is a space to put together the things which might not feel completely logical but beautiful just because - the perfect protest piece?

Bring along something to which would love some new life, or use our second-hand fabrics to create a patch for later embellishment.

What to expect:
- introduction to needlework & basic stiches
-what is applique, choosing fabrics and inspiration for designs
-relaxed & social atmosphere

The workshop is at the canteen and delicious food and drink available throughout!
