A gig held at The Canteen on Sunday 6th December. The event starts at 17:00.

Free entry!

Live Bristol is a family friendly monthly event held at a local grassroots venue, supporting and showcasing emerging talent and grassroots artists, providing a platform for a diverse mix of genres and welcoming musicians and individuals from various backgrounds.

The event started due to a lack of regular opportunities for local up-and-coming emerging talent. Collectively, as a community, we felt there needed to be something regular to provide a platform for fresh emerging talent.

Running 5pm-midnight

Live Bristol offers individuals the opportunity to perform and gain experience in event management, including artist liaison, sound technology, lighting, artist booking, and event programming. This provides valuable insights and experience in event coordination and management. Additionally, it offers individuals the chance to take the lead in designing event flyers and booking emerging artists.

The experience gained through Live Bristol can potentially lead to further progression, placements, and employment within the creative arts and nightlife events industry, making a meaningful impact on their personal and professional development. Additionally, the events have helped individuals build confidence, allowed them to network, socialise, and secure other gigs, and facilitated connections with other musicians and organisations, further enhancing their opportunities within the industry.

Entry requirements: 18+
